Daily Prayer Guide: Day 19

Praying for International Visitors

If you live in a city with corporations, businesses, universities and medical centers, many International Visitors doubtless come to study, work and live in your city. Because America is a land of opportunity, internationals love to come to experience training, the freedom and exposure to the democratic government, capitalist economy and multicultural environment. Short term International Visitors love to do sightseeing, shopping, traveling, home visiting, cultural activities in cities. Perhaps most visitors are students and trainees in the city’s universities. Some international business owners may have established shops or small companies in your city. In God’s Kingdom perspective He wants His people to welcome International Visitors, learn from them, share their lives with them, and introduce them to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Praying for internationals is part of God’s plan for His family since He said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Mark 11:17). PRAY then for God’s purposes for the International Visitors in your city’s communities and schools:

Students and Trainees

Company Employees and Business Owners

Short Term Vacationers

Be sure to pray for International Visitors whom you see in stores and who own and run businesses where you live
